at least I didn't have to drive to work
Getting out of bed this morning was probably the hardest thing I've ever done.
(Today.)
I spent the first half of the night shivering in a ball under three layers of blankets and wondering why we rent this room at all.
Then I spent the second half actually sleeping, only to be rudely awakened by a demon alarm clock that wouldn't shut off.
I even unplugged it. Still beeped.
I told it I was going to the bathroom to brush my teeth and that when I came out, I wanted to hear silence.
It worked. Except that I forgot to bring toothpaste.
