movin' on up

So as it turns out Montevideo, Uruguay, is considered to be the Geneva of South America.

(I feel smarter already.)

There are more political exiles, writers, artists, and intellectuals here than anywhere else in any Southern hemisphere.

(I rarely see Americans, but when I do, they always irritate me and I always look away from them like all the Uruguayans, like here at this Internet Cafe where they're discussing the CIA in very loud voices. Just in case someone in this whole room can't hear them and the point they're trying to make.)

I, unlike the other Americans here, don't have a point to this entry. I just wanted to brag on my new location.

Nyiah-nyiah-nyiah-nyiah-nyiah.
