So tonight Dirk and I went out for falafel at a place one canal over from his apartment.
And we saw a lot of people we'd never seen before.
And two of them were George Clooney and Brad Pitt.
(They were filming a scene for "Ocean's Twelve.")
After we ate, we went for a stroll up the canal to watch/listen to the sunset symphony.
It's Memorial Day here, so a lot of people were out and about.
So again, we saw a lot of people we'd never seen before.
And two of them were the Queen and the Prime Minister.
(They waved to us---and hundreds of other people standing on the quay---from their boat.)
