Philippines confirmation
Just got off the phone confirming our transfer from Manila to Puerto Galera.
She called me "mon," which is either "man" or "ma'am," and said that the van would be there to pick us up Sunday morning.
"Do you want the name of the hotel?" I asked.
"Oh," she said, "good idea."
So I told her the name and then asked, "Do you want the address?"
"Oh," she said, "good idea."
I like this everything's-going-to-be-fine-you-don't-need-to-confirm-anything mentality.
We haven't even left yet and we already can't wait to go back.
