Alice in Wonderland
It was so robotic, changing from nightgown to uniform and back again every day.
The simple act of jeans-sweater-boots is foreign to me.
Being a real person again takes a surprising amount of work. I have to think and plan and hustle, hustle, hustle.
Only it's a mental game now, not a physical one.
Suddenly the days are ticking by quickly as the workaholic fog lifts.
I'm in Memphis now. We went out for barbeque and I packed a weekend bag.
Tomorrow morning we'll be in Nashville (300 miles from here), then we'll fly out to West Palm Beach, Florida (1,000 miles from there).
This morning I was tromping through snow on my way to breakfast with friends. Tomorrow I'll be on a beach in a bikini.
