One thing I love about Chinese people (and I realize I'm stereotyping here) is that whenever they come over for something, they just make themselves at home.
I came into the living room after the last post and found that the six repair guys had turned on the air heater. The ayi does the same when she comes over to clean.
It's something an American would probably never do, just be like, hey, I'm cold and I think I'll just do this myself because I clearly can't communicate with you and you probably don't care if I mess with it.
My translator called: the water heater is beyond repair, so we get another one tomorrow.
