countdown
I'm at pro at countdowns.
I counted down the number of days until I got to leave for Europe last year. I counted down till the GRE, till graduate school applications were due, till I got to go home for the holidays.
I have to return Stateside in four months for graduate school for teaching.
My boyfriend is in denial. My host family has contacted au pair agencies to find a replacement.
I'm currently ignoring the countdown.
