parting is such sweet sorrow
I made an appointment with my orthodontist to have the bar behind my bottom teeth removed.
He cemented it down when I was twelve. I asked him how long I had to have it in and he said "until you're twenty-five."
At twenty-four and a half, I've had it in over half my life.
And I'm wondering if he was kidding.
